you aren’t here for Physics 101?

Let’s be honest, breaking the laws of physics is a pretty tall claim and I felt like you deserved an explanation.

Everyone and thing has a center of gravity, right? In order for you to remain in equilibrium (a.k.a. standing), your center of gravity must remain directly over your support; in this case, this means your feet. This means that if you stand against against a wall and try to bend over to touch your toes, you’ll fall over because your center of gravity doesn't remain situated over your feet. What’s fun is that I can, in fact, touch my toes without falling over when standing against a wall.

How is this possible?

Basically, it has to do with the fact my center of gravity is lower than others so when I stand against a wall and bend over my center of gravity stays above my support (my feet).

So does this mean that I’m ACTUALLY breaking the laws of physics? No. But it’s definitely more fun to tell people that. :)
